Identifying our needs helps us do 2 VERY important things:

  1. Helps us make choices that are affirmative vs responses that are reactive
  2. Helps us identify, articulate, and maintain healthy boundaries

The other thing I love 💙 about focusing on needs is how solution focused the conversation becomes. When we know what we don’t want, it helps clarify what we DO want.
